Wish you were here
As we understand it, these were two groups of visitors — one from Boston, the other from Tokyo — who converged in Tompkins Square Park this afternoon ...

However, commentary that is intended to "flame" or attack, that contains violence, racist comments and potential libel will not be published. Facts are helpful.
If you'd like to make personal attacks and libelous claims against people and businesses, then you may do so on your own social media accounts. Also, comments predicting when a new business will close ("I give it six weeks") will not be approved.
The fact that a giant arrow is missing from this picture point to one particular place is completely mystifying me.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. I pleaded my case. Something about "going over budget" for the pumpkin photos.
ReplyDeleteThey're certainly dressed for the part!
ReplyDeleteThat's either the creepy bald poster guy covering his eyes in the back row, or else its Slenderman.
ReplyDeleteum. amazing. please do not miss the amazingness.
ReplyDeleteThis group certainly went balls out for their visit to our fine city!
ReplyDeletePS Grieve: "Going over budget for the pumpkin photos." HA! Good one!
Fabulous photo, Mr. Radley, and they look like a really fun group of folks.
ReplyDeleteIs "East Village Today" some kind of bot? That comment makes no sense. All that username's comments are weirdly chipper exclamations that don't really scan in a sense-making way.
Hey 2nd from left, let me buy you some more secure undergarments. #unsee #unsee #unsee
ReplyDeleteNever Mind the Sex Pistols Here's the Bollocks.
ReplyDeleteOM MY GOD! can't unsee!! and how does this lad not realize that his, um, brains are swinging in the breeze?
ReplyDeleteLet's focus our attention to the right. The kid in the kilt is giving me life. I also like how these young punks are colorful and clean and seem happy. It's a nice contrast to the army-navy store heroin addict style that's ruled for so long.
I suspect east village today is an out-sourced hire for some entity that is trying to drive traffic to their own "blog" or news source or whatever it is trying to be.
ReplyDeleteSo you hire very cheap labor and you get them posting mostly irrelevant posts.
8:24AM...this "username" 's comment was not a bot but rather a comment just having a bit of fun on this rainy Saturday...but you'd have to examine the photo closely to get the joke...though, granted, it may be too childish for some.
ReplyDeleteShouldn't East Village Today be commenting on how these visitors should clean up themselves and if they do they will have an uptick on photo opportunities.
ReplyDelete@pinhead...why oh why did you ruin the joy of discovery!
ReplyDeleteWhile looking very closely at "that guy's" pants I believe I could see the remains of the bendy tree.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous 8:24 AM - I meant they're dressed for the part of East Village tourist.
ReplyDeleteSorry for the confusion!
Giovanni, you crack me up. Let's get married.
ReplyDeleteI'm going as the 2nd from left's balls for Halloween.
ReplyDeleteBetter yet, I'm going as East Village Today for Halloween! Be afraid, be very afraid.
Costernation!!!!!!!!! (exclamation points!!!!!!)
You know EVG, a little censorship is not always a bad thing. Jerk.
ReplyDeleteI'm going as EV Grieve Jerk for Halloween! Censor that.
