Don't recall ever seeing a Citi Bike with a white seat … like this one on East Seventh Street at Avenue A that Derek Berg spotted…

  5. Maybe they're trying out a new model seat that doesn't crack and break in half after 10 rides?

  6. I spotted one of the white ones two days ago.
It's just a different color, they still smell just as good as the others.

  7. Great! They're fixing them with found parts. What's next? Broom stick handle bars?

  8. I think your right EVT! They've taken the money from the huge price hike they forced on their customers and found a way to make these eye sores look even worse. Thoughts?

  10. EVT... your blog lol. If EVT is not SMDH punking us, then the key master has just found the gate keeper.

  11. East Village Today is definitely some kind of fake website to get a reaction out of people. So please don't react to EVT — that is just what he or she wants

  12. CitiBike ridership was down in October by 15%, then they suddenly raised the annual price 50% without giving riders advance notice. Now they are closing down entire rows of docking stations for maintenance, and finally these mystery mis-matched white seats are popping up, which probably won't be white for long. Is it just a coincidence that the company that took over CitiBike has a stock symbol (REQX) which is pronounced "wrecks?"
