Getting to know — Essex Crossing

There's a community presentation tonight at 6 for anyone interested in learning more about Essex Crossing, the 1.9 million square feet of residential, commercial and community space coming to the Lower East Side once of these days.
The meeting is at the Grand Street Settlement, 80 Pitt St. between Rivington and Stanton.

If you'd like to make personal attacks and libelous claims against people and businesses, then you may do so on your own social media accounts. Also, comments predicting when a new business will close ("I give it six weeks") will not be approved.
Have them answer how they can blatantly disregard the contextual zoning laws for the neighborhood? There goes the light and air for the surrounding area. Shame on them.
ReplyDeleteWell, we can't have light and air and house NYC's middle class, let alone the people that staff our service and retail industries. That said, as I recall, the "affordable" housing percentages on this project are pretty laughable. Sheldon Silver's greatest shame.
