ReplyDeleteYes!
ReplyDeleteWhat's the status of B&H?
ReplyDeleteI got soup by candlelight there during Hurricane Sandy. Everyone who works there is freaking awesome and Roman is the best!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGood old Stage!
ReplyDeleteSo sad to see Pomme Frites and the whole half of the block gone, with no bus service and traffic diverted there are fewer pedestrians around. It looks like London after the bombing. Moishe was out giving rescue workers free kosher pastries. No word on when they will reopen. Some of the police were drinking coffee from Porto Rico Importing DF Mavens and the supermarket were closed. Gem Spa is open but only the door on St Marks is open since 2nd Ave is off limits. it looked like Veselka and the BBQ place were open but many stores are shut down or have limited access. Lets hope we don't lose any more stores due to all the shutdowns.
ReplyDeleteJust letting everyone else know--I tried going to Stage around 7:30 pm tonight and the police said Stage along with all 2nd ave stores on 7th street were closed.
ReplyDeleteSo unfortunately, no Stage dinner tonight!
Seamless is still operating.
ReplyDeleteThe grocery New Yorkers market (met food)
ReplyDeleteIs also open. 2nd ave (6-7) is open. Went yesterday and not a soul just the manager and a cashier. Support the 'hood!
One of the best places for Eastern European food, although a little cramped. Would hate to see this place bite the dust.
