Spring (still)

Today's springtime photo (without the real-feel temperature) on St. Mark's Place comes courtesy of @cj__ts...

  1. Callery pears. Although St. Marks has an impressive line up of them, they're actually all over lower Manhattan. They were out about two weeks early this year, and they're probably wondering just about now why they did that. Actually, the current chill will likely keep their flowers out a bit longer than would otherwise have been the case. Thanks!

  2. I love a cool spring which keeps budding trees like you have pictured here, looking lovely for several more days.

  3. St Marks Place is a street I mostly have avoided for the last decade. When the trees are in bloom though I always take a walk along the street and remember the past.
