At least the kiosk just north of Seventh Street has its Information Superhighway as of this morning... and it appears family friendly fare is playing in that YouTube video...

Your remarks and lively debates are welcome, whether supportive or critical of the views herein. Your articulate, well-informed remarks that are relevant to an article are welcome.
However, commentary that is intended to "flame" or attack, that contains violence, racist comments and potential libel will not be published. Facts are helpful.
If you'd like to make personal attacks and libelous claims against people and businesses, then you may do so on your own social media accounts. Also, comments predicting when a new business will close ("I give it six weeks") will not be approved.
And if you start camping out in front of it right now, LinkNYC will grow in a lawn chair and an air mattress for free.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Fast Co. has an Oops! award LinkNYC could also be nominated for? Not that anyone could have foreseen a potential PR blunder in failing to put content restrictions on free Wifi thus creating a city-wide porn district.
ReplyDeleteI'm making a new aluminum hat for the occasion.
ReplyDeleteWhy exactly do we need these ugly monoliths on the sidewalk? Sidewalk space is crowded enough.
ReplyDeleteThey wil be vandalized by the barbarians in our midst and as disgusting as pay phones in no time.

If you count procreate, they've already been tagged.
ReplyDeleteSetting up an ear buds rental so you can make phone calls.....$1 for five minutes. Haven't actually tried the phone quality yet..but the net...wow it is slow...like dial up speed.
ReplyDeleteHaha. They've shut off the Internet connection now because of abuse by the, um, deplorables.
