Going cold turkey on Avenue A
Last night, EVG reader Daniel noted the presence of a still-frozen Butterball turkey on Avenue A and St. Mark's Place...
As of this morning, it's still there... though slightly thawed, as Derek Berg noted...
Looks to be about a 9-pounder...

That's sad. I wish someone could've eaten it.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry that poor turkey died in vain. What a waste.
ReplyDeleteWhat a waste. To think of how many people that could have fed.
ReplyDeletePoor Turkey, feared for it's life just to end up kicked to the curb.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe someone left that turkey out on the corner when they could have easily dropped it off at the Church on Avenue B across from Tompkins. They have a kitchen, and they provide meals to the homeless. What a waste.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, you'd be better off fasting than eating whatever factory farmed toxic goo they inject into Butterball turkeys.
ReplyDeleteHorrible. An animal died to be treated like garbage.
ReplyDeleteLady Gaga enough already! We get it! You're weird!
