Honeybee ready to read your past, present and future on Avenue A

There's apparently a new psychic in town... in this exclusive report, workers this morning hoisted the new awning at 199 Avenue A between 12th Street and 13th Street...



As the sign shows, Honeybee is now doing readings here, which include the past, present and future...



Any thoughts on the punctuation in the sign? Readings By: Honeybee. As opposed to, say — Readings By Honeybee.

Anyway! This space went under renovation in March 2014, setting a local record with a two-day overhaul. (Read that post here.)

    It would actually be Readings by Honeybee. The colon is fine stylistically I guess but not recommended.

    I like the Readings By:. Perhaps the psychic has a legal background, as By: on legal documents is common.

    I routinely use the blue "Psychic" sign from a distance as a point of referrence in helping me to get myself to Mikey Likes It for some tasty ice cream. So as long as THAT sign stays, my life will remain a little bit easier.

    Maybe the colon is there because they plan on periodically changing which insect does the readings? I.e., this month's readings by: Honeybee. (Next month: Potato Beetle.)
