Ramen Setagaya reopens today after renovation on St. Mark's Place
The St. Mark's Place branch of Japanese chain Ramen Setagaya has been closed for the past few weeks... with brown paper covering the windows.
But there is a note (as well as new signage) here between Second Avenue and Third Avenue... noting a reopening today...
There's also a reopening event this weekend... where the already-affordable student-friendly menu will offer two $5 specials...

Yum. What a deal.
ReplyDeleteWhat's happening with this place? Change of ownership?
ReplyDeleteA few weeks before the closure, the ramen suddenly became truly awful. Not just bad, but sickening.
They raised prices and changed menu (not as good) prior to renovation. No more dumplings and ramen special :(
ReplyDeleteCrap, that would suck if there's any truth to the above two comments. They used to serve an excellent ramen here.
ReplyDeleteHow does the deal work?
ReplyDeleteIs it all day? Are you allowed as many orders as you want?
@anon 11:04. Here now, the menu says 11am-10pm 'while supplies last'. Not sure if there are limits to how many each person can order.
