Minty fresh vibes in Tompkins Square Park
A scene from Tompkins Square Park yesterday... where a rat was enjoying the remains of an ice cream/gelato cup ... it was not immediately clear if the flavor was, say, mint chocolate chip or perhaps pistachio ... (if it was mint, then this may be more proof that the flavor isn't a rat deterrent ...)
Thanks to EVG regular Cheyenne for the photos...

I scurry, you scurry, we all scurry for ice cream

ReplyDeleteWhy is it so difficult for people to put garbage in the trash? What part of the process is just "too difficult"? The city should make bus stop size posters of these picture and put them everywhere.
ReplyDelete2 solutions for the rat problem in TSP. 1) Ban food in the park. 2) Import a flock of hawks and a herd of weasels to prey on the rats. Post signs not to feed the rats, hawks or weasels.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely mint chocolate chip. I heard rats are allergic to pistachios.
ReplyDeleteReportedly, rats laughed when they heard De Faustio gave a contract to the Mint-x inventor.
