Your remarks and lively debates are welcome, whether supportive or critical of the views herein. Your articulate, well-informed remarks that are relevant to an article are welcome.
However, commentary that is intended to "flame" or attack, that contains violence, racist comments and potential libel will not be published. Facts are helpful.
If you'd like to make personal attacks and libelous claims against people and businesses, then you may do so on your own social media accounts. Also, comments predicting when a new business will close ("I give it six weeks") will not be approved.
So this is the reason why parking is more difficult.
ReplyDeleteThis movie is going to tank.
ReplyDeleteIs it me, or is the production of this taking a while? It's like they are trying to film in every current hip spot under 14th street, as if it was a ny times style section video piece.
People will be visiting these places for the next 50+ years because they used these businesses in the production
ReplyDeleteSandra Bullock is still beautiful!
ReplyDeleteRun don't walk... away from this movie.
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say: EVERY comment above was wrong. The movie was average, maybe slightly above average. Some people liked it, others didn't, but definitely worth seeing. It was a box office success (at time of writing, they are nearing $200 mill earned on a $70 mill budget). Veselka (or any other NYC location, for that matter) will not be visited for the "next 50 years" on account of being used in this movie.
ReplyDeletePerfect example of how the Internet has become so ridiculous. Our first instinct is to exaggerate. We feel the need to react wildly to every little thing. I just thought I'd point that out.
@Rick Parker You sound very inspirational. Where can we subscribe to your newsletter?
