2 free shows in Tompkins Square Park this weekend

    How much does it cost to put on a live music show in Tompkins Square Park? Sound system, truckbed stage (as I was once told bands have played on one), and whatever else.

    I ask because someone is soliciting donations to raise 5K to finance a show they're having in TSP in a couple of weeks and that seems excessive considering it costs only $70 in permits ($45 noise + $25 special event) to put on an event in the park.
