Ugh!
ReplyDeleteTry not to get kicked out for asking ANY question that upsets him or doesn't fit the narrative he wants. Especially the thorny issue of his fraudulent affordable housing scheme.
ReplyDeleteHow is it that this Town Hall meeting is being held at a local public school while that CB3 meeting is held now at a posh hotel? Really tells you about CB3's agenda, priority, and interests.
ReplyDeleteIs Marcia Kramer from CBS attending this Town Hall Meeting? I sure hope so! She is a thorn is DeBlasio's side . . . LOL!
ReplyDeleteWhen you sign up the website asks what you want to ask a question about, so they can pick and choose beforehand who to ignore so BlahBlah doesn't get his feathers ruffled.
ReplyDeleteInstead of complaining about where it is and what it's going to be like, RSVP to go! Complain all you want after you have gone about whatever happened at the meeting that you didn't like. But don't waste your time or ours complaining now. Go! Take part! Ask a question. Yell if you want. Whatever you do, go. RSVP now so you can get in.
ReplyDeleteBe part of a solution rather than a problem!
ReplyDeleteSure, 10:36 am. You do the same too, okay?
ReplyDeleteAgree with the commenter at 8:40 AM; De Blasio WILL get upset & insult you if he doesn't like the question. At a town hall mtg a couple of weeks ago, he interrupted a guy concerned about pedestrian & cyclist fatalities and the city's lack of action to fix most dangerous areas, mid-sentence and went on a diatribe about how people who walk & bike are ingrates, and how offensive the question was to him. It was remarkable, almost Trumpian in style.
ReplyDeleteIt's so upsetting that he's coasting to reelection & doesn't give a shit about his constituents. There are 8.5 million people here, mostly democrats, and that's the best we can get? So upsetting that no strong democrats have dared challenge him in the primaries.
Hi 11:43! I RSVPd right after Grieve posted. Will you be there? It would be great if a lot of Grieve readers show up. I try to get to as many community meetings and events as I can. I find a lot of meetings are packed but it is mostly middle aged folks like me and the elderly people who still live here somehow. So many young people think posting online is enough. We need more voices at these things.
ReplyDeleteSo are people not going because they think DeBag is going to be rude? Hell, that’s all the more reason to go!
ReplyDeletewho has the guts to challenge him to defend his support of our new counsel woman

I'll be at the next CB3 meeting, 2:26, it has a nicer venue, gratis, I might add; it'll be maybe the only time that I can get in into that trendy hotel without a VIP and paying an exorbitant amount of money and rub shoulders and be amongst the evr so beautiful people. Who'd wanna be in a public school forum filled with the commoners and plebians, while the hosts purports to listen to their concerns but they really are working for the patricians.
ReplyDeleteDeBlasio's only reason for living is Trump and New Yorkers thinking they can run for mayor only if they have money (Bloomberg) or have people with money backing them (Giuliani and DeBlasio.)
ReplyDeleteThe next NYC mayor has to be a rich progressive who self-funds completely - no donations or fundraisers.
Note to the guy at 11:03. I am piss poor and I strolled right into that fancy hotel the other day and used the bathroom. No one batted an eyelash. Why do you think you aren't good enough to walk into that hotel? You are good enough. Maybe you don't believe it, but you are.
