The view this afternoon from 10th Street and Avenue C (via Bobby Williams) showing Winter Storm Quinn... forecasts are calling for more thundersnow...
Impressive satellite imagery of the rapidly developing winter storm. The bubbling clouds are indication of intense upward motions increasing snow growth and potential for lightning. pic.twitter.com/JeSK4aOUkZ

Do not understand why everyone is calling this a severe snow storm. EV people has seen much worse. It is just nasty sleet, disgusting to walk in, that's all.
ReplyDeleteWhy are they naming storms backwards alphabetically now? Last week Riley, now Quinn?
ReplyDeleteI was out in it this afternoon, when I saw a terrific flash of light. It was much more than a flash from a photo studio, that I've seen before. Suddenly there was a huge clap of thunder. Crazy.
