Oh crap...I love their food, hope this does not portend them shutting their doors...
On Dec. 22, a massive FDNY response to a fire on 15th Street, just west of Third Avenue. I could see the half-dozen or so trucks, a Haz-Mat unit, and three or four ambulances. What's frustrating is the FDNY alerts Twitter account: sometimes it's idle just when you need it most. Not that I couldn't go out and ask a firefighter what was going on (which I did — duh, it's a fire!) but still. It was a big contingent of bravest, and a little information on the designated channel would have been helpful.
