One East Village related story which EV Grieve somehow missed (and doesn’t he doesn’t miss many) was the death of Peter Brant’s eldest son Ryan Brant, who died of a heart attack ay age 47 earlier this week. Ryan was one of the good Brant sons, not one of the two sons who have been arrested in recent years on various drug, intoxication, taxi fare beating and airport tantrum charges. He was the co-founder of Take Two Interactive Software, which launched the record- breaking video game franchise, "Grand Theft Auto". May he Rest In Peace.
