Grant Shaffer's NY See

Here's the latest NY See, East Village-based illustrator Grant Shaffer's observational sketch diary of things that he sees and hears around the neighborhood.

As previously mentioned, Grant was switching up this format: He's now creating a single panel each week so he can focus on his new project: short stories for a graphic novel.

  1. even just one panel is still as uninteresting as six

  2. Love Mr Shaffer's work. This is a new development I have not seen, single pane illustrations. You go Grant.

  4. @anon 5:02 - Your phone auto-corrupted "interesting" to "uninteresting."

Your predictive texting is based on your history, so it's obvious that you're affecting an air of world-weary ennui, which is actually not as beguiling as you think but there it is.

  5. Still LOVE it. Still think NY See would make a great book. I'd buy one. Let us know about the graphic novel. Adore Grant's unpredictable style. Very human and very needed.
