Last Saturday for Summer Streets

The last Summer Streets for the, um, summer takes place today (Aug. 17!) from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. ... as the 12th annual Summer Streets celebration wraps up another Saturday where people can enjoy the nearly seven miles of NYC roadways that are closed to vehicles for running, walking, biking, complaining, etc.

    Don't worry Grieve, at the rate we're going with the street reconfigurations, every day will be Summer Street. Bubble Tea Poke Broth on me!

    It was way too crowded today. Bumper to bumper traffic all the way downtown. So I cut down Mulberry Street for a Saigon bee, summer rolls and tofu with lemongrass at Nha Trang on Baxter Street, while reading a NY Times article on the tragic last days of Jeffrey Epstein. Life is only good if you are still here on Earth to enjoy it.
