  2. My question is, once the new OMNY system comes online and makes Metrocards obsolete, how are they going to reconfigure these machines that they put in at such great expense to accept taps from a "digital wallet", and which now make it easier than ever for people to board without paying? Enquiring minds want to know.

    1. The question was raised during community board meeting and MTA said these machines will be obsolete and will need to be completely replaced. So wasteful.

  4. It looks like you're buying a Metrocard. Would you like help?

  5. The new system is totalitarian - tracking your movements and usage - to be sold to the highest bidder - your privacy is taken away from you by Cuomo - from the tracking cameras on the side of the road to the "congestion pricing" surveillance system - no layer of tyranny is too much for Cuomo and his snowflake elite.

  7. What if people dont/wont have a smartphone ?
This is especially true for elderly people with vision issues -
or say, you just dont want to use a smartphone and be tracked or hacked ?

Or say your phone doesnt work battery/whatever -
    then what ?

  8. Congestion pricing will only track vehicles, not people. But yes, if you don’t want to be tracked you need to avoid OMNY, uber, lyft, citibike. Ride your own bike, use taxis or get a car from the local car service office.
