And perhaps no one is around to mind the store on a full-time basis... as such, a neighbor left a sign on the door asking the bar-restaurant to clean up its curbside dining space...
... seen worse, but...
This has been a common complaint among some residents when a bar or restaurant temporarily closes... who's taking care of the curbside space... and, in some cases, if the venue closes, who's responsible to take down the structure... ?

Agree - you as an owner or a business just leave and not take care of your outside space. For one these outside spaces take up valuable parking spots, plus it is now a lure for homeless camps to set up. Get it together owners.
ReplyDeleteA few times in recent weeks I've seen one of the owners walking around the surrounding neighborhood while taking photos/videos of other outdoor setups. Why not take care of your own spot??
ReplyDeleteso many probs with these structures... guess a necessary evil for the time being.
ReplyDeleteCheck out the enclosure in front of Lucy's on Ave A! I don't know how some homeless person managed to fill it with SO MUCH junk in such a short time! It's a bit scary and the snow-rain-sleat tomorrow will make it that much more special,
ReplyDelete@anon 10:09: if the parking spots are valuable how come they’re free?
