The Two Hands signage arrived yesterday at 147 Avenue A at Ninth Street... as we noted on Monday, this space will serve "Seoul fresh corn dogs."

You beat me to it! Last night when I was walking my dog, that was EXACTLY my thought, BOARDWALKš
ReplyDeleteBoardwalk is better
DeleteDon't forget Village Square Pizza as the third leg
ReplyDeleteI still can't get over the corn dog place adding "Sugar Optional" to a number of their offerings. Mustard, sauerkraut, chili, cheese, onions, relish, I'm good, but sugar? Ermmmm, no, thanks.
ReplyDeleteOver 20 years ago I saw a local guy asking for sugar to put on his slice at Sal's on Broome and Mott. Needless to say, the outraged owner refused thd request, saying "that's against my religion" and "my grandma wouldn't approve".
DeleteThe original Avenue A boardwalk stand is Ray's!
ReplyDeleteI'm not an expert in Korean culture or anything, but I've always heard that they favor a sweet-savory snack (like the honey butter potato chips).
ReplyDeleteWish them the best, but man I wish there still was affordable hand-painted sign making available, rather than these garish printed vinyl awnings.
ReplyDeleteThere's been a place called "Two Hands" for several years now down in Tribeca; don't these Two Hands people do their research?
