Door signage points to a utility issue in the building. (DOB records show an open violation related to a fire-alarm system in an upstairs unit, which may or may not have a thing to do with Planet Taco)...
The quick-serve taco shop just debuted in March ... hopefully, they can reopen soon. People seemed to like their offerings, though the extensive menu can be overwhelming.

Their tacos are good, it will be disappointing if they disappear
ReplyDeleteOh no. I tried their tacos early on and liked them. Otto's Tacos, the place that was here before, also had building issues. I hope things get worked out soon. It's rough to start a business and hold on to employees and customers when you get shut down like this.
ReplyDeleteSad. Hope they are able to reopen quickly. I’ve walked by a few times hoping they’d be open to no luck. I liked them the first time I tried them. Also hopefully they use this time to rethink their extensive list and just stick to lesser options. Way too many options on the menu the average customer spends 5 + minutes trying to decide. If someone is waiting behind they'll get annoyed and potentially walk out down the street to the other taco spots.
