Be serious. The actions he is accused of occurred when he was both a quadriplegic and suffering from dementia. At worst they were verbal comments made when his cognitive abilities were failing. Chuck set new standards in the art world and also freely shared his love for art with the younger generations. Chuck Close was an inspiration who unfortunately suffered the indignities that many of must face at the end of life.
