You may want to check online before visiting this or any NYPL outpost. The Ottendorfer branch on Second Avenue between St. Mark's Place and Ninth Street is open during its usual hours.

They just lost their program coordinator, hopefully that wasn’t the first step to halting. Love this branch!
ReplyDeleteIt's probably a good idea to actually call any NYPL branch before heading over to it, due to the staff shortages. Although each branch notes online if they're open or not at that time, I've experienced being disappointed by arriving at the "open" branch and seeing a note on the door stating it wouldn't be open until a few hours later that day.
