Early word: Kudos for the old-school "Avenue A" cursive font...
Waiting for EV Signage and Font Troll to weigh in!
Our previous post on this new arrival has more about the glut of like-minded businesses along this Avenue A corridor.
Your remarks and lively debates are welcome, whether supportive or critical of the views herein. Your articulate, well-informed remarks that are relevant to an article are welcome.
However, commentary that is intended to "flame" or attack, that contains violence, racist comments and potential libel will not be published. Facts are helpful.
If you'd like to make personal attacks and libelous claims against people and businesses, then you may do so on your own social media accounts. Also, comments predicting when a new business will close ("I give it six weeks") will not be approved.
Well done!
ReplyDeleteThe waves of businesses are so odd. Some time back, it was hamburgers. Then pizza, fro-yo, ramen, fancy coffees, twee desserts, now delis, which are at least useful to a broader customer base.
ReplyDeleteaw, thanks! I try to practice restraint (in public, anyway) with my little opinions. 😹
ReplyDeleteHere I agree with Grieve: I dig the old school/new school pair of fonts. The pop of green is well deployed, letter spacing is *chef's kiss*. This is minimalism done perfectly. Welcome to the Avenue!
