ReplyDeleteBusinesses traditionally open where the population frequents the most- I guess we smoke a lot and purchase unnecessary things.
ReplyDeleteWhatever the market will bear. The East Village is becoming a 2 note neighborhood- smoke shops and bars.
ReplyDeleteWithout passing a value judgment one way or another, it's pretty funny to me that we have such insanely punitive regulations regarding alcohol (can't so much as have a drink on your own stoop, strict rules about liquor stores, opening hours, etc.) and yet have opened the doors to a seemingly infinite number of smoke shops with zero regulation about where you can or can't smoke. The alcohol model is a not a good one, but this seems like an obvious policy oversight.
ReplyDeleteToo bad that sandwich placed closed so fast..Didnt even give me enough time to get a FREE Damn Sandwich from them.
