DUCK YEAH! - COOOL
ReplyDeleteVermeer (played by Colin Firth) takes his young maid (played by Scarlett Johansson) over to the window of his studio and urges her to look outside.
ReplyDelete"What color are the clouds?" he asks her.
"The clouds are white," she answers immediately.
"Look closer," he suggests, and then waits for a minute.
"What other colors can you see in the clouds?"
Obedient and unquestioning, she has never had the leisure to really look at either clouds or anything else, for that matter. The attention she gets from the talented painter make his wife (played by Essie Davis) insanely jealous. When has Vermeer ever even asked his wife to look at clouds? Now we have Duck, and need to stop and ask each other, "What color are the steps leading down to the F-Train?"
