Ha! I feel this has been some sort of secret contest, who in the neighborhood can hold on to their Christmas tree the longest. What a riot!
ReplyDeleteHow did they keep this one still green the whole time?! Fascinating
ReplyDelete@Anonymous 10:31AM -- Grieve used to hold a "contest" for the latest-ditched tree.
ReplyDeleteThe judge, Of course, was always abroad/out of town/indisposed and could not fully officiate and reward a prize.
But the contest itself was gripping.
It might bean Easter Tree, which I only just found out about https://www.pinterest.com/gingerrush/easter-tree/
