Asian Taste looks to be reopening this month

Good news for fans of Asian Taste.

The owners told me they received approval on the gas inspections from the city and ConEd and hope to be open in two weeks.

They said they "are eager to welcome people back."
The quick-serve Chinese restaurant on the NW corner of Avenue B and Third Street has been closed since late September. During an inspection of 199 E. Third St., Con Ed found multiple leaks and shut off the gas to the entire Steve Croman-owned building, including the businesses.
