Plant Bandit ON THE LOOSE

Noting this urban etiquette signage on Houston at Attorney:
Plant bandit spotted in the LES Lock up your dalphyniums [sic], your hyacinths and your lantanas! Bring your mint, basil and oregano in every evening...who knows what beautiful greenery he is going to take next??
May need to add herb and spice bandit to the description...

  1. The hyacinths are on sale on 14th Street btwn 1st and A. If you buy the hyacinths and a frying pan with no handle, you get a discount!

    1. I was planting in front of my apartment on 12th st between 1 & 2nd this week and someone stole 2 bags of my dirt and my Columbine and Artemisia plants, 😭
I planted what was left, but without the dirt they will probably struggle to survive, sad times …

  2. I was planting some flowers outside my apartment on 12th St., between first and 2nd Ave., and someone stole two bags of my dirt, some columbine and Artemisia plants. Very depressing and sad that someone would do that here in the East Village. I won’t give up trying to get something to grow by the street even without the new dirt!
