Thanks for the picture - the only time you can stand in the middle of 14th St without fear of getting hit by a vehicle. Damn that building is sooooo out of place.
I'm not a NIMBY at all but every time I see this building, I see the building next to it whose residents were utterly screwed over... with seemingly no compensation
Does anyone remember the entrance ramp onto the FDR drive here. It was the south bound entrance way. It was about three car lengths long and on a blind curve. You needed a good car and nerves of steel to get up to highway speeds.
Yeah that's one of the streets seemingly gifted to coned... i propose we officially trade it for the piece of land between the N train and LaGuardia airport that's owned by coned so we can get a goddamn extension directly to the airport

DeleteMaybe add a nice cornice and some fire escapes and it’ll blend right in.
