Dec. 10

An EVG reader shared this from Third Street between Avenue A and Avenue B... At this point, why not just keep it for a few more weeks? Maybe spraypaint it green and have a fire extinguisher nearby...

    1. We had a Dec. 24 discard last year... likely by someone who wanted the EVG cash prize, which, unfortunately, still can't seem to find!

    2. I miss the olden days when we had to take a picture of the tree beside that day's newspaper just to prove the date. Not unlike a kidnapping. Best, JG

  3. I think they were just trying to set the record for latest tree disposal posted on this blog, and were worried it might be overlooked
    if they waited until Christmas Eve

  4. I agree with Sean. My conspiracy theory is that people in the neighborhood deliberately hold onto their Christmas trees until they look like this, in hopes of being featured on EV Grieve!
