Coming attractions

An EVG reader tells us that the NE corner of Avenue A and Fifth Street — on the Con Ed substation — will soon be home to a series of murals... The space got prepped today... no word yet on the artists involved. And perhaps positive news for people who are tired of the endless tags along here...

      i feel like i’ve been consistently surprised by how rarely the murals get tagged, the joe strummer one is always in good shape

    yay!! was wondering what they were working on that wall for. cool to see a brand new one go up! also i have walked past that building a hundred times and it’s never occurred to me to wonder what it is, TIL
