Dioramas time: The 'Pools' are open on Avenue C

A fall classic returns.

East Village artist J. Kathleen White has installed her latest peephole dioramas on the northeast corner of Avenue C and Sixth Street, outside the Francisco "Pancho" Ramos Community Garden.

This year's theme is "Pools"...
Take a peep at each diorama... perhaps during an event here for the 2026 Harvest Arts Festival

White started creating and sharing the dioramas in 2005. Revisit the early editions at this link.
