Dolly Parton Appreciation Day's opening shot

A thank you to Dolly Parton remains on display at Superiority Burger on Avenue A. 

Sept. 25 — 9/25 — has become an unofficial Dolly Parton Day, a calendar-inspired nod to the singer's "9 to 5" song (and film!). Parton passed away on Aug. 26 at age 80.
