Running with the 95 Bulls in Tompkins Square Park

The Brooklyn-Queens-based five-piece 95 Bulls, led by vocalist Emily Ashenden, tore through a grimy collision of garage punk, post-punk and synth-wave in Tompkins Square Park yesterday afternoon as part of a free Show Brain lineup.

  1. I'll be honest, I don't always love the noise in the park (and my dog hates it), but at the same time it always warms my heart to see younger people still out there playing this music in 2026.

  3. Lived in the neighborhood for 20+ years; these shows keep degrading the quality of life with unwanted noise. We do not want to be a captive audience to your obnoxious music while walking thru our park.
