Todos Contentos y Yo También bringing Spanish-language books to 3rd Street

A new independent bookstore and publisher is coming to 138 E. Third St. between Avenue A and First Avenue.

Todos Contentos y Yo También is expected to open later this fall, with a selection of new and used Spanish-language books and English translations. 

The name translates roughly to "Everyone's happy, and so am I."
The shop is also home to Todos Contentos & Yo También Press, an independent publisher focused on unconventional and transgressive works. Its catalog includes fiction and nonfiction. 

The bookstore has been teasing its arrival on Instagram: "Things are coming 👀," promising "the best selection of Spanish books in town." 

No opening date has been announced yet as the buildout continues...
High Vibe closed here in 2023 after nearly 30 years in business.

    They should add Portuguese books as well there is a huge underserved community of Brazilians in Manhattan

    Excited for Corey and the team to be opening this shop! They've done great things with Codex on Bleecker St., and before that Book Thug Nation in Williamsburg (No more sadly). Looking forward to stopping by.
