Not saying this makes any of us safer but stay alert when you pass someone who is sending out a vibe. These cameras are high def and much better than the typical low end garbage you see from stores that buy cheap cameras because the insurance requires them. There are some benefits to these kiosks. Akeem White was walking down the block when another man asked him “Are you looking at me?” and shot him in the head. The police have yet to release any photos of a suspect, and there has not been any update on that case. This latest case on 6th Street looks like a stabbing, but for some reason it took almost a week for the police to release the suspect’s photo. I would prefer that the police release the suspect’s photo or description as soon as possible after a murder, as we now have two people who committed murder on First Avenue who are still on the loose.
