My point which you overlooked is tourism needs to stay out of healthy neighborhoods. Check out my link from my first comment. Some of us are fighting to keep bars at a minimum and we are not all "grumpy old people", some of us have children and don't want to rely on Amazon to buy basics. There was a time not too long ago when a person did not have to leave the neighborhood to get everything they needed, small shops provided this. Gimmicky business like this one only raise the rents for everyone which is something I think everyone will consider a bad thing. noble neolanihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15721532867336440260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5694390946037511355.post-81034796081869059402021-11-17T13:11:00.829-05:002021-11-17T13:11:00.829-05:00My God, thank you Neighbor for your 12:35pm post. ...My God, thank you Neighbor for your 12:35pm post. #blahblahblahAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5694390946037511355.post-58825470918369080652021-11-17T12:35:00.233-05:002021-11-17T12:35:00.233-05:00Hey Noble, Why don't you open something? I brought a soda to the register and was charged $20 for it. I got a vague explanation about shipping costs and taxes, and immediately put it back. It also means more foot traffic and more delivery trucks on a block that needs to pedestrianized: free car parking needs to be removed , better barricades need to be placed in order to create a safe Open Street.
