With all of the appliances and air conditioners in use these days, the old wiring in these buildings can't handle the demand. For years the media and big energy has been telling us that gas is a safe, cheap and clean source of energy, but the last time I checked every form of renewable energy was cleaner and does not blow up and destroy whole buildings. This year landlord costs in New York have had a net increase of zero due to falling oil (and gas) prices, yet as Pikachu would say we still have landlords siphoning gas with crazy straws just to save a few more dollars.

Buildings all over the city have been installing larger gas lines for heat and hot water under the illusion that gas is cleaner and safer than oil. Yet we have two major gas explosions in the city recent years that killed almost a dozen people, and even more explosions have obliterated many small homes. The city needs to find renewable energy sources and stop this insane switch over to gas or else we will see many more disasters just like this one.
Giovannihttp://urbanmyths.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5694390946037511355.post-61722932236761990122015-04-25T04:50:49.392-04:002015-04-25T04:50:49.392-04:00Welcome back (again) San Marzano, and here's h...Welcome back (again) San Marzano, and here's hoping there are no further interruptions for you.
