Block Party on, 9th Street

Time again (tomorrow!) for the annual block party on Ninth Street between Avenue A and First Avenue.

Annual 9th Street A-1 Block Association Block Party

Saturday, Sept. 1​6​, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. (no rain date)

Resident artists, crafts people, and photographers will be showing and selling their work, and residents will be selling a la "stoop sale" — antiques, bric-a-brac, clothing, accessories, music, jewelry, etc.

• Beetle Bug (florist), Enchantments, Flower Power (herbs), Love Gang (clothing), Mr. Throwback (vintage clothing and accessories), Ollie's Place (cat adoption), Pink Olive (gifts), Polytima (jewelry), Puppy Love Kitty Kat (pet supplies), Reason Outpost (clothing)

• Restaurants/Cafes: Cagen, Good Beer, Superiority Burger, Tacos Morales, Thursday Kitchen, Whitman's, Zucker Bakery

At the 46th annual 10th Street Block Party

The 10th Street & Stuyvesant Street Block Association hosted the 46th edition of the Block Party today between Second Avenue and Third Avenue... EVG contributor Derek Berg was there and shared these photos...

Tomorrow is the 46th annual Block Party on 10th Street between Second Avenue and Third Avenue... brought to you by the 10th Street & Stuyvesant Street Block Association.... From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. there will be antiques, collectibles, music and Skarsgård gawking.

For a good time head over to Ninth Street between Avenue A and First Avenue from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (After that, you're on your own.)

As usual, some of the businesses along the block will have tables set up outside... as well as some residents holding stoop sales.

You can usually find some good stuff for sale at the various stoop/table sales... though things were still being assembled when I walked through earlier this morning...
