"We'll just stitch together a few shower curtains from the 99-cent store and no one will be able to tell the street is missing!"



As I've mentioned before, there's not much -- if any -- street left on Fulton Street. So somebody recently had the idea to brighten up the pedestrian crossings on Fulton Street with these cheap-looking, flowery screens. As if these will make us not notice this:

  1. My company is moving to this area. We're currently in the West Village area. I joined this company so that I can stay away from the Wall Street area. What have I done to deserve this? Whatever I did in the past life, I have no recollection of it. Forgive me.

  2. Yeah, it's not pretty down here with all the construction these days. But there are several places to go around here to keep sane. Hope to get to a few of those spots soon.

  3. Also, at the moment there are no military presence nor there are any cops in the subway platform "randomly" checking bags. Besides, with all these condification and yunnification in NYC, I'm planning to relocate, request for a transfer. By the time those good spots are ready -- I'm hoping to not to be there at Fulton street.
