The way we were on 13th Street

On 13th Street between Avenue A and First Avenue. Someone hung a large photo of the what the street looked like before the A Building was completed. You know, the A Building, where people shit in the laundry room.

  1. I walked by tonight on my home. Great photo. I am glad it is bolted on there but good!

I miss the way things were around here before all the construction and eviction took place and will always see the A Building as a symbol of ruin, not just because of what it is, but because of who developed it. I do try not to hold it against our new neighbors though.
