Robin Raj prepping for the big move two doors down (and there's signage!)

The folks at Robin Raj Discount Health & Beauty Aids at the southwest corner of 14th Street and Third Avenue are emptying the store in preparation for their move this weekend (I was told) ...

...a few doors down to 114 Third Ave. where there's now signage! And it looks as if the RR guys will now going by Robin Raj Discount & Deli...

Given what I usually see sold there, a better name might be Robin Raj Discount Egg and Cheese on a Roll.

  1. Yeah, I took a pic of that sign that they're moving to 114 3rd ave. If another condo goes up there, I'll be partly glad, to spite those people who paid exorbitant amount on 110 turd ave., during the RE boom.

  2. I just don't get it.. as a landlord myself.. albeit a residential one.. I just do not understand the greed in raising rents so substantially in an economic enviornment such as this!
Obviously, you can't strongarm a tenant into paying a higher rent in a softer market as there are plenty of better and less expensive options being offered.. right down the street apparently!
I hope the landlord on the corner of 14th and 3rd who thought he would unload the lot to a developer or high paying tenant sits on it vacant and unused for years and bleeds to bankruptcy.
Then the lot will be sold at auction for pennies on the dollar. Sucker.
