Off the wall

I'm always rather surprised to see the side of the building free of ads here along this stretch of Third Avenue near 12th Street...Been empty for at least a week since "The Pink Panther Part Duh" banner came down...

This is always prime ad space too. A short history of the wall from 2008...

Where are all the ads?

  1. True! I think it's the two lonely windows on the north side of the building. You never see the windows with the ads. I've always wondered if anyone lived in one of those apartments.

  2. It's amazing how we've grown accustomed to seeing building facades as ad spaces. Without is the way it should be and it just looks weird.
