People really seem to like the new Custo Barcelona ad campaign!

Spotted at 70th Street and Columbus Avenue.

  2. This isn't new - just something that a certain denizen of the East Village hasn't walked past before. The really sad thing is that Custo appears to have abandoned the retail space in this building (they own the building), most likely in response to the downturn in the economy. The space has been vacant for more than a year - the Custo signage has been up since last April, but there's been no sign of life since then. This sort of "character-building" in neighborhoods isn't going to help any of us who live in, and love, this city. I would happily take a bank over blight.
