Appreciating a great bar on a day where it's not safe to go into any bars

Mars Bar, of course. First Street at Second Avenue. Not that you'll see anyone here today in green plastic hats and what not, but you never know what pub crawlers might be around on March 17...

Oh, and Happy St. Patrick's Day. May you not have to spend it near anyone who has been drinking Irish Truck Bombs. (Yeah, it's a pitcher instead of a pint.)

  2. Nice intel on the "truck bomb", was not even aware of such an animal. the "car bomb" I thought would have been more than adequate of delivering the "weapon of mass destruction" level of queasy inebriation....

I'm just glad the Red Wings are on Versus tonite. Will be staying clear of the green plastic hats....and the truck bombs

  3. I somehow ended up here (twice) on St Pat's Day. It was actually pretty mellow...but I burned my arm on the freaking steam pipe in the bathroom - careful in the one on the right...
