Working sort of zipping along at the old Zips space

And as of Friday evening, a new paint job for what is expected to be an upscale diner-type place at Avenue B and Fifth Street...



And is black and blue the best color scheme for a new restaurant in this economy?

    I'm obsessed with the Zips coverage. Walk past it constantly. Can't decide if I'd like a diner there...???

    Thanks for the comment...I'm obsessed myself (as you can likely tell!)... I'm not sure what I'd want in this space...I know what I don't want...(hookah bar, anyplace that attracts more idiots to the neighborhood, etc.)
