Cooper Square Hotel honors Homer Simpson

Yesterday, most of the the shrubbery (which was new!) was ripped up on the Fifth Street side of the hotel...



...to make way for, uh, this.

  1. That pristine white wall is asking for trouble - they could at least pretend to want to fit in with the neighborhood and turn it over to Chico.

  3. im confused by that also, why does it say tropical fantasy as reported in the nypost, the unknown "graffiti" artist claimed it was a memorial for a friend.
    keep an eye on it, im sure it will turn out to be just another billboard disguised as art.
    homer simpson? thats probably to throw people off the trail.
