A violent clash on Seventh Street early Sunday morning
Be sure to read Bob Arihood's account of a brutal brawl that broke out early Sunday morning on Seventh Street and Avenue A that involved nearly 50 people. "This event that we witnessed was violent . People were not just beaten , some were stomped and kicked too," Bob reported. And one police car with two officers was available to respond to all this. (Neither More Nor Less)

This is really scary. I was sitting in Benny's Burritos one afternoon a year or two ago and a mob of kids who looked like they were junior high age did this. It used to happen a lot more in the neighborhood about twenty years ago. Gangs of kids would just attack random people on First Avenue and elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteOff topic -- where can I get good information on the V turning into the M?
ReplyDeleteJust like I remember the animals being when I grew up on Avenue D. The years go by, generations come and go and yet, they are still animals.
ReplyDeleteStop playing host to these hip-hop parties and this will stop.
